Immigration: You will need a passport and a valid photo ID in order to obtain your tourist visa from the Mexican officials or your airline before entering Mexico. If traveling with a minor under 18 years of age, you must have a notarized permission letter signed by the other parent.
Climate: From November through March the mornings are cool, requiring a light jacket or sweatshirt. By midday, the temperature rises to the high 70’s or low 80’s. After March the midday temperature will rise to the high 80’s through the mid-90s. It is still cool enough on the lake in the morning to require a light jacket. We have air-conditioned rooms and dining rooms for your comfort.
Insect Repellent & Sunscreen: Keep it on at all time when outdoors. Now and then we have a “No-See-Um” problem! Any kind of repellent works. Also be sure to bring the sun screen of your choice.
Water & Ice: Purified bottled water is provided in boats and at lodge facilities.
Boats & Equipment: All of our guests will be fishing out on bassboats equipped, 60 h.p. engine, trolling motors, swivel seats and Coast Guard approved life jackets.
